With over 37 years of experience in tax and accounting, Julie brings deep expertise and a strategic approach to helping businesses thrive in today’s complex economic environment. Her career has spanned public accounting, consulting, and software, giving her a well-rounded understanding of how to optimize financial operations for growth and compliance.
Julie began her career in public accounting before transitioning to consulting for accounting firms. She later spent more than 11 years at a leading tax and accounting software company, where she supported thousands of clients in improving profitability and operational efficiency.
Julie holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from Walsh College and an MBA from Eastern Michigan University. She is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and an Enrolled Agent—federally licensed by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before the IRS. She is also an active member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents, the Independent Accountants Association of Michigan, and the Professional Association of Small Business Accountants.
Outside of work, Julie enjoys reading, watching movies, and staying involved in her three children’s sports and activities. She and Martin share a passion for the outdoors and spend as much time outside as possible.
